Synopsis
In the seventh book in the bestselling series, evil scientists are still trying to convince Max that she needs to save the world, this time by providing the genetic link in speeding up the pace of evolution. Worse, they're trying to convince her that her perfect mate is Dylan, the newest addition to the flock. The problem is that, despite herself, Max is starting to believe it.
Fang travels the country collecting his own gang of evolved humans, but the two separate flocks must unite to defeat a frightening doomsday cult whose motto is Save the Planet: Kill the Humans. And this time, the true heroine, for once, might just be little Angel.
My Review
This is the seventh book of a nine book series by James Patterson. This book is 320 pages long.
The gig is still on for Max. She needs to save the world from a new "cult" that is going global saying "Kill the humans!" The flock has to blend and figure out how to stop this group. On top of that, Max is having unusual feelings for Dylan, the hot new member of the flock. Scientists like Dr. G-H, want Dylan and Max to reproduce, hahaha! The flock hasn't talked about Fang since he left, but they say something on his blog. Fang is trying to save the world, too with his new gang, including Max 2. Max and Fang's gang have to work together. This "cult" is brainwashing everyone, including Ella, Max's half sister, and Iggy. The One light is upon them an they have to become part of the group to stop them. Someone will be killed. Who will be killed? Will Dylan win Max's heart?
This was a great book, but it was very tear-filled. It was very suspenseful and full of action-packed fights. I can't wait to read Nevermore. After Nevermore, I will read "The Light of Dawn" since I don't have access to the ninth book of Maximum Ride "Maximum Ride Forever"!
